In-Betweenness is an interactive experience about spatial recognition and interaction. It interweaves spaces together by displaying an intangible space on physical curtains. It uses the act of opening and closing curtains to reveal the relation between the audience and the spaces. The project investigates one’s presence in space and the sensation of shifting between spaces through a sequence of interactions with curtains. The goal of the work is to provoke reflections on the present by compounding multiple realities, and investigating how one perceives themselves in relationship with their surroundings.
